Seth Roth is an artist that leaves you pondering, “This guys gives his all in every word he sings.” Growing up the son of a truck driver Seth learned that hard work, passion, and loving what you do are the only ways to get by in this chaotic world. His influences move from late 70’s and 80’s rock to the musical genius of Michael Jackson, all the way to the brilliant songwriting of Bob Dylan and Neil Young. He played in a local rock band in Washington for fourteen years and learned the ups and downs of being in an indie rock band. The highs are really high and the lows are very, very low. But after his fourteen year adventure with the band Endeverance he started writing his own music and finding a different style. In 2013 he released his first solo ep Types & Shadows, which came with the roller coaster of life and the hope of always finding light in the darkness. You can hear the hope when Seth sings, “Life is what you make of it.” from his song Unapologetic. And then in the song Through The Night, you get a glimpse of the silver lining of hope that comes with his live performances. Now moving into the year 2015 Seth has decided to pursue music full time and commit himself to his art. With this new year he is hoping to take his fan on a grandesque adventure of seeking truth, and the knowledge that hope is always within reach.
